THE PROBLEM:

Tens of millions of Americans suffer from debilitating sexual problems. The MAP Education & Research Foundation is dedicated to educating the next generation of healthcare providers that sexual health is more than just biology.

THE SOLUTION:

We motivate, educate, and mentor the next generation of healthcare providers. A Sexual Tipping Point Award Program sponsored by the Foundation grants a certificate and a monetary prize for the best presentation, consistent with the Foundation's mission, that is delivered at an international meeting for professionals and students interested in sexual health.

The Foundation maintains and promotes mapedfund.org to distribute its Sexual Tipping Point® resources free to all health care students and professionals.

Foundation lectures and publications familiarize healthcare providers with the Foundation's Sexual Tipping Point® model's biomedical-psychosocial and cultural approach to understanding, diagnosing and treating sexual disorders.

The Foundation's "Sexual Tipping Point" Blog on Psychology Today's website provides similar education for the public.
